What do we do if we are on holiday and do we still need to pay?
Please let the nursery know if your child will be absent for holidays. Please see terms and conditions relating to holiday payments. Full fees will still be required if your child does not attend due to holiday.
Do I need to let you know if my child will not be attending nursery?
Please contact the nursery to let us know, if your child is absent due to ill health it is important we are aware of any illness or absents. Full fees will still be required if your child does not attend due to ill health.
When will my child be eligible for the nursery education funding?
All children are eligible the first full term after they turn three. (In some circumstances funding may also be available from two years old, please contact the nursery manager for more information.)
What is your registration number and awarding body for tax credit information?
Ofsted are our awarding body, and our registration number is EY321490.
How much notice do you require if I wish to cancel my child’s place?
One calendar month for children not receiving funding, for those children receiving government funding the notice period is one terms notice.
How are fees calculated, and how often are invoices issued?
Fees are calculated over 51weeks and divded by 12. Invoices are sent out termly, this allows for termly funding costs to be average out for the term. Payment must be made by the 1st of each month.
Do you accept childcare vouchers and the government tax free childcare?
We accept most childcare vouchers aswell as payments through the governments tax free childcare account, please note that you must supply us with your child’s unique reference number in order for us to allocate your payment. Vouchers and TFC payments are part of your monthly fees and must be received by the 1st of the month or will be subject to a late payment charge.
How do I book extra sessions?
You should consult your child’s room leader to confirm availability. Extra session are payable on the day.

What happens when my child is ready to move rooms?
Your child’s key carer will advise you when the time arises and when settling in sessions are due to commence to ease your child’s transition. In addition we operate an open door policy and you can request to view any room at any time.
What food is provided for the children?
Morning Snack, Lunch and Tea are provided. All meals are prepared on site by our nursery cook, and meet the requirement of the city’s healthy setting award.
Do you have parents evenings?
Parent`s evenings are held twice a year. Should you wish to speak to anyone in the meantime please arrange a mutually convenient time.
How do I inform you if I have changed my contact details?
Please contact the nursery manager by email or in person, alternately please fill in the updated contact form found on the website.

Why do I need to inform you where my child is going to pre school or school?
Transition into school is an important stage of your child’s life and we work in partnership with your child’s school to support this process including sharing of children’s learning journeys and we invite reception teachers into our setting to meet the children in a familiar environment.
Policy on swapping sessions
Sessions are booked on registration any alteration to this pattern will require 1 months notice. Extra sessions can be booked if places are available but swapping sessions is not possible.
Discounts
We offer a 10% discount to siblings of children already attending the nursery, this is except if you receive government funding for 2 or 3yr olds. This discount can not be used in conjunction with any other discounts.
